Abstract | It is argued that, if Australian universities are seen as businesses and students as consumers of their services, universities must address the legal consequences of the business/consumer relationship. Two areas of law affecting possible liability in higher education--misleading/deceptive conduct and the requirements of natural justice and procedural fairness--are examined. (MSE) |
