Abstract | Nowadays Cloud computing technology is considered pivotal for the success of any business or organisation. This technology is not just an infrastructure that is used to implement various strategies rather it makes new emerging strategies possible. However, to embrace this emerging technology, the challenges and uncertainties about the expected economic, technical and operational feasibility, and related security, privacy and regulatory concerns, successful transition from planning to design and implementation, as well as its overall impact on the individual organisation, needs to be estimated or identified. Notwithstanding, such studies have been undertaken across different sectors other than the Indian school education system to tailor out unique cloud computing solutions as per the business needs of the individual organisations. Therefore, given the unique requirements of the Indian school education system, this research undertakes feasibility analysis, identifies various challenges and barriers related to the adoption and transition towards the cloud, and offers efficient cloud computing adoption strategy with services and solution offerings together with enhanced security framework.
