Abstract | In reflecting on student affairs as an organizational entity within higher education, the author is keenly aware of the impact of the environmental context on the strategic directions and responsibilities of professionals who do student affairs work. In this article, the author offers observations on how the environment has, over time, had an impact on the tenor and content of the work of student affairs. (ERIC). |
