Abstract | This article presents the experience and limitations of government-run social work and the nonprofessional nature of social work, and suggests that the rapid development of social work and its professionalization are the inevitable results of the reform in the system. The author maintains that under market socialism, social work requires the cooperation of government and society. Moreover, social work is confronted with the dual task of indigenization and innovation. (As Provided). |
