Abstract | This module is one in a series of thirteen specifically designed to help vocational educators develop the skills needed to function as resource persons to learners enrolled in field-centered competency-based teacher preparation programs. (These learners are persons with appropriate occupational experience and competence who are being prepared as teachers on an inservice basis.) The objective of the module is to help develop skill in assessing a product- or process-type teaching performance to stated criteria to assist teachers in becoming more effective in their daily school activities. Contents include five learning experiences based on four enabling objectives. A list of outside resources which supplement those contained within the module is presented. Each learning experience contains some or all of the following materials: enabling objective; learning activity (activities), including information sheets, case studies, and self-checks with model answer (as feedback); and optional activity (activities).
