Abstract | This collection contains 41 cognitive objectives and related test items for home economics, grades 10-12. It is organized into the following categories: child development (home discipline); clothing and textiles, consumer practices; design principals; health services, home management and family economics; housing; and pregnancy. Each objective is stated operationally, and is limited and defined by a category and sub-category. The majority of objectives are accompanied by six sample items. In most cases, a correct answer is provided; however, if there is no single correct answer, sets of possible answers or suggested criteria for evaluating student responses are provided. The collection includes multiple choice, open-ended, and situational tests, floor plans, and anatomical diagrams. (CP) |
