| Abstract | The socioeconomic growth of Alaska is analyzed with its related demographic statistics and historical trends. The cultural and cross-cultural effects are considered, along with factors relating to industrialization and geography to arrive at predictive figures for the population of the state. Other influences on the economy are reported in terms of employment and income factors. The objective of the study was to reveal the magnitude of the economic development of Alaska and to provide statistical data for more detailed study. (BD) |
