Abstract	La educación cívica en los centros escolares intenta dar respuesta no sólo a las exigencias del mercado, cada vez más tendente a valorar el respeto, la responsabilidad, el trabajo en equipo, la iniciativa propia, la autonomía . sino también a los requerimientos que surgen desde las propias políticas sociales básicas de la Unión Europea. La educación cívica, jurídico y social trata de favorecer la construcción de un ciudadano libre y, sobre todo, autónomo; capaz de desenvolverse en el mundo laboral, completando la formación de las titulaciones de los Liceos de Enseñanza Profesional. ; The citizen education in the educative centres tries to response not only to the requirements of the market, increasingly lending to value the respect, the responsibility, lhe initiative, the autonomy . but also to the requirements that arise from the own social basic political ones of the European Union. The citizen, jurídical and social education tries to favour the construction of a free citizen and, especially, autonomous; capable of developing in the labour world, completing the training of the qualifications of the College of Vocational Education.
