Abstract | Globalization in post-secondary education curricula is the focus of this study. An unnamed post-secondary institution local to the area of Dade County, Florida, was the setting of this case study. The setting was chosen for its diversity, program curriculum, and location. In this study, I will assess the importance of and critique globalization competence as it relates to higher education. I will examine the process of change, if any, to the globalized program at a postsecondary institution in South Florida during its evolution. The process of change as reflected in written documents of the college, and interviews with key informants including administrators, educators, program planners, and students will be presented in this research. The findings should be of interest to administrators, educators, program and curriculum planners, employers, and students who are interested in globalized programs at post-secondary institutions.
