Abstract	This guide contains descriptions and credit recommendations for some 1,167 courses in a wide variety of subject areas offered by 107 organizations, including business and industry, labor unions, professional and voluntary associations, government agencies, and others whose primary purpose is not education. Intended for use in academic counseling of students, the guide provides information to secondary and postsecondary education officials concerning awarding of credit for learning in noncollegiate settings. An introduction describes the program which developed this guide and its use. Section 1 contains course exhibits for courses that have been reviewed and recommended for credit since the program began in January 1974. Section 2 contains exhibits for courses conducted by organizations under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act and recommended for credit. Each course is listed alphabetically by title under the name of the organization offering it. After each organizational heading is an introduction providing general information about the organization, its training and educational activities, and source of official records of student performance. Each course exhibit provides the following information: title, course number, location, length, dates, objective, instruction (description of major topics, teaching methods, materials, equipment), credit recommendation (hours, appropriate subject area).
