Abstract	This publication reports background information, a rationale, and a proposed state system for classification and retrieval of vocational-technical education curriculum materials for Alabama - a result of the state/federal-funded project entitled "Vocational Education Curriculum Operation--Management Plan" (VO-ED COMP). Major components of the recommended system are listed: planning, organizing, acquisition, processing, storage/filing, retrieval, and evaluation. Service is discussed from the viewpoint of a central focus, permeating all components. An automated, machine-readable documentation procedure is recommended, along with a centralized vocational-technical curriculum resources library. Recommendations for staffing and procedures for implementing and operating the library are made and sample forms are appended. (Author/CT)
