| Abstract | Teachers of vocational agriculture are in a unique position to make an outstanding contribution to the welfare of future generations by reason of their knowledge of natural resources. Occupations in natural resources are concerned with improving and maintaining various aspects of the environment. The major purpose of this publication is to assist teachers in providing instruction in agricultural resources assuming that students already possess the knowledge covered in basic agriculture courses. The outline of instruction is divided into 14 sections, with suggested time ranges for each, but it is emphasized that the course should be geared to the local situation. Suggested activities and references are provided for each section of the course. (Author/SA) |
